Growing up, I would routinely go fishing along the Mississippi River. These memories are very special to me. This summer as I walked along the Stone Arch Bridge, I thought back to that time. I imagined the river itself as a giant fish, powerful and unyielding. Its spots are the sunlight, reflecting off the water; the jagged banks forms its fins. The booming and powerful Falls create its massive tail. The mighty Mississippi has a tale to tell. Everyone who comes upon it, the kayakers, walkers, bikers, and runners, experience it in their own beautiful and unique way as it meanders through the Twin Cities.
