May Day Parade

I moved to Minneapolis this spring, and the first large event I attended was May Day in Powderhorn Park. It was a beautiful experience — I fell in love, connected with the community, and started feeling more comfortable here in general. It’s an important day and event for me in several ways, and the vibrancy of that event is what inspired the design of this poster.
