POSTERS for PARKS

POSTERS for PARKS is an annual show featuring limited-edition posters created by local artists and designers who are inspired by Minneapolis parks. 50% of all profits from the show are donated to protect and preserve the award-winning Minneapolis park system, with the other 50% going directly to the artists.


Since 2016, more than $100,000 has been donated to support the community-driven projects and programs of the People for Parks Fund.


This event is a joint venture of LoveMplsParks and the Minneapolis Parks Foundation.

The Minneapolis Parks Foundation transforms human lives through parks and public spaces by aligning philanthropic investment and community vision.

As the primary nonprofit philanthropic partner for the Minneapolis park system, we forge effective partnerships to help ensure everyone in Minneapolis lives within walking distance of welcoming, vibrant parks reflective of the communities they serve.

The People for Parks Fund was established in 2020 through a consolidation between the Minneapolis Parks Foundation and People for Parks and carries forward a 42-year legacy of grassroots support for Minneapolis parks. Grants funded through events like the Posters for Parks show are guided by the People for Parks Fund Advisory Committee. If you are interested in applying to become a member of the Committee and help generate funding for Minneapolis Parks, please email us.
