Defend Our Rivers

Inspired by the osprey that circled above me as I sat on the shore of the Mississippi River this summer. It was a beautiful scene and yet a grief filled me as the river hawk and I looked over wet shimmering sand, littered with bottles, cans, and debris. How much longer can we take this for granted?
