The Dakota and Ojibwe of Gakaabikaang (Minneapolis) have a long history, spanning before colonization, of portaging around St. Anthony Falls. I imagined in a triptych style, moments of what portaging around the St. Anthony Falls would look like in modern times for a modern Native.
