My Favorite Bits of Minneapolis Parks

Minneapolis Parks have been the backdrop to so many moments: A place to flock to when needing a moment of peace — *headphones in, with journal in hand.* Spaces to gather with friends and community — *sitting on blankets, sharing snacks and taking turns flying the kite.* Paths and parkways to travel down — *biking with friends feeling like you rule the streets, or strolling quietly with a lover in hand.*
I travel around Minneapolis seeing these parks and the moments they hold — both my own and those of all of the other faces I pass. Knowing these spaces are meant for us to exist in. They are here for us. They are here to hold our community, and embrace every human and critter that call this place home.
