Wednesday Night Wimbledon

Recently my buddies and I got super into pickle ball. We play every Wednesday night. At first I thought pickle ball was for old people and it was just going to be like a chill version of tennis with some ping pong vibes, but I was most definitely wrong. It’s significantly more intense than I imagined.

To capture my newfound love for pickle ball, I turned to my go-to retro vibes, and unique character forms capturing the motion of the game. To capture the shocking intensity of the game I was inspired by the 1980 Wimbledon final – Borg vs. McEnroe. I can’t think of anything more intense than Johnny Mac.
